Military Intelligence @ US Army

I am a cadet and junior enlisted member of the Louisiana Army National Guard assigned to the 415th Military Intelligence Battalion in Carville, Louisiana. My duties are to observe the functions of the unit and learn effective leadership skills through observation and participation in company events. I also serve as a Linguist for German and French, among other languages. Past missions I have been assigned to include translating for Haitian delegates, high ranking Haitian officials (Excellencies, the Secretary of the Interior, etc.) as well as the US Haiti Ambassador. During one of the missions I was recognized for my work by the highest ranking officer in Louisiana, the Adjutant General, and was awarded the Adjutant General Award for Excellence.
Road Crew @ Gilford Public Works

At Gilford Public Works I was the first woman hired as a member of the Road Crew in 15 years. We worked around town limits improving the roads and conducting maintenance on the storm drain systems. We also cleared fallen trees and controlled vegetation growth around the roadways. In the winter season work mostly consisted of clearing and de-icing the roadways and ensuring public safety.
